Krishnaveni, is an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer who began her dance lessons at age nine, under the tutelage of eminent Guru, Natya Visharada, Smt.Vempati Nageswari. She was also fortunate to learn the intricacies of dance under revered gurus, Dr. Vedantam Ramalinga Sastry and Dr.Yashoda Thakore.

Krishnaveni holds a Diploma in Kuchipudi Dance from Telugu University, Hyderabad and has been bestowed by Natya Mayuri and Mahila Ratna awards for her enchanting performances.

Krishnaveni is also the Director on Board of IDEA ( Indian Dance Educators Association - DC ). Krishnaveni attended dance workshops on Natya Sastra, Rasa Theory and Nayika Nayaka classification in 2012, conducted by Dr. Pappu Venugopala Shrama.

Besides her passion to learn and teach Kuchipudi dance, Krishnaveni also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University, India and Masters in Computer Science from George Mason University, VA.
